Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to every agreement between Camperplaats Zsana (Joep & Miep) and the guest. By placing a booking, you agree to these terms.

1. Definitions

• Camperplaats Zsana: the campsite operated by Joep & Miep in Zsana, Hungary.
• Guest: the person who places a booking and/or stays at the campsite.
• Booking: the agreement between guest and Camperplaats Zsana for a stay.

2. Booking and payment

A booking is final after written confirmation by email. Payment is made on site upon arrival, unless otherwise agreed. We accept cash payments in euros or Hungarian forint. It is not possible to pay online in advance.

3. Cancellation

Cancellation is free of charge up to 14 days before arrival. For cancellations within 14 days before arrival, we charge 50% of the accommodation costs. For cancellations within 48 hours before arrival or no-show, we charge the full amount. In case of early departure, no refund will be given.

4. Arrival and departure

Check-in is possible from 14:00 on the agreed arrival date. Check-out must be done before 11:00 on the departure date. Early or late check-in is only possible in consultation and subject to availability.

5. Number of guests

The maximum number of guests per pitch is 4 persons, unless otherwise agreed. It is not permitted to have more people stay than specified in the booking. Visitors are only allowed with prior consent.

6. Liability

Staying at Camperplaats Zsana is at your own risk. The guest is liable for any damage caused to the property of Camperplaats Zsana. Camperplaats Zsana is not liable for theft, loss or damage to the guest's property, nor for injury sustained by the guest during their stay, unless there is intent or gross negligence. Use of the campsite, sanitary facilities, swimming pool and playground is entirely at your own risk. Parents/guardians are at all times responsible for their children.

7. House rules

Guests are required to comply with the house rules as stated on the premises and on the website. See our house rules page for a full overview. In case of violation of the house rules, we reserve the right to deny the guest access to the premises without refund.

8. Force majeure

In case of force majeure (including extreme weather conditions, natural disasters or government measures), both parties have the right to cancel the agreement free of charge. Amounts already paid will be fully refunded.

9. Complaints

If you have a complaint during your stay, we ask you to report it to us immediately so that we can find a solution together. After your departure, you can submit your complaint by email within 14 days.

10. Applicable law

These terms and conditions and all agreements with Camperplaats Zsana are governed by Hungarian law. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in Hungary.
